First of all, it's saving business owners time and allowing you to reach millions of people with ease. Entrepreneurs and business owners can work from home, send an email to a list of 10,000+ people inviting them to purchase a product or service, and create cash on demand.

At the same time, it has enabled users to protect themselves from "scams" after doing a quick Google search. Not to mention the possibility of prospects being exposed to other network marketing companies, hence, scaring the shit out of most distributors.

If you are anything like myself then you are probably guilty of leading with your product or opportunity when prospecting.

Leading with your opportunity is a natural thing distributors often do because that's what they are interested in and enjoy talking about.

Unfortunately, it may surprise you that your customers and prospects are not always interested in what you want to talk about which is stopping you from getting your message across. The term for this method is called "push marketing" because you're pushing your opportunity on someone, rather than "pulling" them in by using the attraction marketing formula.

Understand that everyone, including you, is asking themselves one question; "What's in it for me?"

What's In It For Me?

(Note: People Do Not Join Businesses, People Join People That They Know, Like and Trust)

Why would this person purchase my product?

Do they have a problem that I can help solve?

A perfect example would be a distributor that sells weight loss products. Imagine him or her trying to sell to a friend who's comfortable with their weight or could care less care less about hitting the gym.

Do you think talking about weight loss supplements would honestly peak their interest? Instead of thinking about yourself, take a different perspective and focus your attention on the benefits and results. This is essential to your attraction marketing system.

We Are Motivated By Our Feelings

Explain to your prospects how your business can help them make money doing less work. Save money and spend more time with loved ones. Painting the picture of the end result is what will get prospects to join your team, never the business itself because people make buying decisions from emotions.

Here's an example: Instead of saying, "My product can help get rid of wrinkles", saying something like this; "Just imagine what it will feel like when you walk in looking 10 years younger than everyone else? I can imagine you'd feel pretty excited about it. That's what my skin care product can do for you."

Which one sounds better?

To summarize, you want to find the problem, and offer the solution.
